Dr. Judith de Niet, Founder

Registered Clinical Counsellor & Esthetician

I am wholeheartedly passionate about helping people reach their goals of improved mental, emotional and physical health. I believe that holistically uniting counselling to clear the mind with the benefits of rejuvenating esthetic services, help clients feel relief, confidence and connection.

Our counselling sessions will provide the space and opportunity for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours which cause you difficulties in your life, in a comfortable and supportive environment. I use complementary psychotherapy approaches and I will use the approaches and techniques that suits your needs the best, such as a client-centered approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, teens and children working with weight management issues, infertility, chronic illnesses/pain, relationship issues/life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (# 6416) with a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, followed by a PhD in Medical Psychology & Psychotherapy and Post-doctoral experience at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver and BC Children’s Hospital.

Alysha Kramer,
Registered Clinical Counsellor

As a young child I yearned to understand how other people’s experiences influenced the way in which they navigate, or felt trapped, in their world. I continue to have this wonderment both inside and outside of the counselling space but now have the tools to help explore these blocks and barriers on a deeper level with clients.

As we begin to better understand the origins of our emotions, we can have compassion towards them and bring balance to our lives. This is why I approach therapy with a trauma informed lens to provide psychoeducation, mindfulness, compassion and other therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to bring about an inner awareness that leads to change and healing.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (# 20693) with the BCACC and received my Masters degree in Clinical Counselling at Adler University located in Vancouver, BC

Welcome to this powerful space of healing

My calling is Transformation. I am here to help guide you through the life changing process of growing out of who you thought you were and into who you were always born to be. Breaking free of your past, stepping into your true authentic power and living beyond your story. Releasing and dissolving everything that you are NOT, in order to allow who you truly are.

I will work with you in a fully integrated process of freeing the mind, healing and dissolving emotional stuckness and trauma. I will help you to break free of the self-destructive patterns and belief systems that no longer serve you and guide you through a process to help heal the past. True healing requires feeling and a willingness to take responsibility for ourselves and our story. It’s my purpose and intention to help my clients reclaim their authentic power, heal their self-worth, gain inner strength and trust.

Personal qualities / strengths as a counsellor

For the past decade I have been dedicated to my own healing journey. Willing to do whatever it took to rewrite the stories that I thought defined me and release the old patterns and behaviors that were not serving me. Today I live a life of joy, empowerment, love, abundance, self-compassion and freedom. Transformation is available to us all.

Aurora Bisson-Montpetit
BSN, Practitioner of Somatic Experiencing

Aurora creates a nurturing environment, where people who are in pursuit of personal growth can work through life’s challenges and move towards greater wellness. She brings a unique combination of a Nursing background, Somatic Experiencing, Reiki and other modalities to form a partnership with clients on their journey to wellness. Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and other life stresses. Survival energy from life’s experiences gets bound up in our system and can lead to a variety of symptoms including anxiety, depression, numbness, fatigue, chronic pain, digestion disorders, a weakened immune system and sleep disturbances among many others. Using a combination of talk and therapeutic touch, Somatic Experiencing helps individuals develop awareness of, build capacity for and process difficult bodily sensations and emotions, facilitating the gentle release of that bound up survival energy. Aurora’s focus is to meet you where you are at, to honor and respect your experiences and to create the conditions to allow healing to unfold. She believes that we each have an innate capacity to heal and she is grateful to be a part of each client’s healing journey.

She has envisioned being part of a team whose focus is on mental health and fostering beauty from the inside out. She is grateful her career has landed her at Vita Vitalis Harmonized Health and whole-heartedly agrees with Dr. Judith de Niet’s philosophy that Counseling, Massage Therapy and Esthetics can and should go hand in hand. Christina is looking forward to engaging with clients and providing services that complement the healing process.

When Christina isn’t working she is enjoying time with family and friends (preferably in the outdoors), serving the community, and attempting stand up comedy.

She is planning on broadening her education in the industry to offer more treatments like Reflexology and Reiki Healing– stay tuned!
